In line with Dubai’s commitment to empowering People of Determination and enhancing its position as a leading inclusive global destination, the Community Development Authority (CDA) has officially launched the Sanad Tourist Card — the first of its kind globally — tailored for visitors with disabilities. This major announcement coincides with the ongoing Arabian Travel Market 2025, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from April 28 to May 1.
The Sanad Tourist Card is a digital smart card designed to provide visitors of determination with a seamless and enriching experience in Dubai. It is available via the “Dubai Now” application and can be issued within 24 hours of arrival — or even prior to travel for repeat visitors.
The Sanad Tourist Card unlocks a wide array of exclusive benefits, ensuring accessibility, comfort, and enjoyment for all its holders. These include:
• Free permit for accessible parking.
• 50%discount on taxi fares.
• Free use of public transportation.
• Free or discounted entry to major tourist attractions.
• Exclusive discounts at shopping malls, restaurants, pharmacies, and telecommunications companies.
Beyond tourism, the Sanad Card integrates with a wide network of public and private sector partners. These include government departments, health and rehabilitation centers, transportation services, and entertainment venues, all providing customized services and discounts to people of determination.
The Sanad Tourist Card is a key pillar of the “My Community… A Place for Everyone” initiative, which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Muhammad Bin Rashed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, to transform the emirate into a fully inclusive city for people of determination. It reflects Dubai’s commitment to accessibility, equality, and social integration at every level of public life.
